“Health, in Ayurvedic terms, is a state in which your thoughts, emotions, and body are in a state of thriving harmony with each other and with your environment.”
~ Paige Reist
The word Ayurveda literally translates to “the knowledge of life.” Ayurveda is an ancient practice and wellness system developed in India over 5000 years ago. It seeks to achieve ultimate wellness for each practitioner through balance and integration and to treat the root cause of illness rather than the symptom. Ayurvedic philosophy connects us to the environment and celebrates the importance of the cycles of our planet, the seasons, and the time of day. It emphasizes personal hygiene, plant-based medicine, as well as physical and mental wellness.
In this 2.5-hour workshop, you will learn the origins of Ayurveda, identify your own dosha(s), and discover how to create your own seasonal Ayurvedic routine to keep your dosha(s) balanced.
