In the context of yoga and Ayurveda, the concept of energies refers to the subtle forces or qualities that influence our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Maintaining harmony and balance among these energies is essential for holistic well-being.

Yoga practices such as asana, pranayama, and meditation work to balance the doshas and gunas, promoting physical health, mental clarity, and emotional stability. By understanding and working with these subtle energies, individuals can cultivate greater awareness, resilience, and inner peace in their lives.

In this workshop you will try a dosha or guna quiz to learn about current state or imbalance (vrikriti). Following the quiz there will be a discussion time. Next we will have a practice (asana, mindfulness, pranayama) to express each Guna and Dosha in the body and mind.

To complete the workshop our guest speaker will share some Ayurvedic tools/equipment (Ginger pickle, bitters, oils, castor oil packs) to show and discuss usage and finish with Q&A for tips/tools/ideas to help balance foods, spices, morning routine, etc.
